Workshop on metadata (standards) for FAIR heritage research

Are you a data steward, data manager, or researcher in the heritage sciences? Are you or will you be responsible for managing research data from the analysis of cultural-historical collections and/or objects, and do you want to store your data “FAIR” so they will be easier to find and (re)use? Then sign up for the E-RIHS workshop on metadata for FAIR heritage research.  

The workshop is organized in the context of the establishment of E-RIHS.nl, the Dutch branch of the European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science. This event will take place on Tuesday afternoon, March 14, in one of the historic rooms of the Trippenhuis in Amsterdam. Data Archiving and Networked Services (DANS) organizes this workshop, in collaboration with the Network Digital Heritage (NDE) and VHIC Faculty. The main language will be Dutch, but the presentations will also be accessible in English and conversations will be conducted in the language preferred by the participants. However, a minimal understanding of Dutch would be desirable.

Ben of word je verantwoordelijk voor het beheren van onderzoeksdata afkomstig van de analyse van cultuurhistorische collecties en/of objecten, en wil je je data “FAIR” opslaan zodat ze beter vindbaar en (her)bruikbaar zijn voor anderen? Meld je dan aan voor de E-RIHS workshop over metadata voor FAIR erfgoedonderzoek.    

De workshop wordt georganiseerd in het kader van de oprichting van E-RIHS.nl, de Nederlandse tak van de European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science, op dinsdagmiddag 14 maart in een van de historische zalen van het Trippenhuis te Amsterdam.  Data Archiving and Networked Services (DANS) organiseert de workshop samen met het Netwerk Digitaal Erfgoed (NDE) en VHIC Faculty.
