Com­mu­ni­ty Overview State­ment

The 4TU.ResearchData com­mu­ni­ty is built around an inter­na­tion­al data repos­i­to­ry for sci­ence, engi­neer­ing and design. With this in mind, the com­mu­ni­ty com­pris­es researchers, librar­i­ans, edu­ca­tors and research data man­age­ment (RDM) sup­port staff relat­ed to the tech­ni­cal sci­ences. 

The goal of the com­mu­ni­ty is to con­nect these mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary mem­bers and pro­vide an inclu­sive and sup­port­ive space for dis­course about data shar­ing prac­tices with­in diverse sci­en­tif­ic domains. This includes the devel­op­ment and pro­vi­sion of dis­­­ci­­pline-spe­­cif­ic guid­ance, train­ing and resources to sup­port researchers in mak­ing their data find­able, acces­si­ble, inter­op­er­a­ble and reusable (FAIR).
