Assis­tant Pro­fes­sor at the Cen­ter for Trans­port Stud­ies, Depart­ment of Civ­il Engi­neer­ing, Uni­ver­si­ty of Twente. From 2012–2015 I was a Research Asso­ciate and from 2015–2018 a Research Sci­en­tist at the Intel­li­gent Trans­porta­tion Sys­tems group of NEC Lab­o­ra­to­ries Europe. My research inter­ests include pub­lic trans­port mod­el­ling, logis­tics and oper­a­tions research, traf­fic con­trol and trav­el demand pre­dic­tion. I have been involved in sev­er­al mul­ti-nation­al projects includ­ing FP7, JPI and H2020 IAs/RIAs. I am the Review Coor­di­na­tor of the Tran­sit Man­age­ment and Per­for­mance (AP010) com­mit­tee at TRB and served the Char­tered Insti­tute of High­ways and Trans­porta­tion as an Over­seas Cham­pi­on (from 2014–2017).
