New GDPR 4 Data Support course March–April 2026

The GDPR 4 Data Support (GDPR4DS) course is an introductory programme designed for data supporters who want to deepen their knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the context of scientific research, and who wish to further develop their role in protecting personal data.

This course strengthens the intermediary role of data supporters by increasing GDPR awareness, expanding knowledge, and facilitating communication on GDPR-related topics between researchers on the one hand and privacy officers on the other.

Course structure

• The course consists of two in-person days, with a break of approximately four to five weeks between the sessions. These days are led by two RDNL coaches.
• Between the two on-site days, you will have the opportunity to study the course materials in the online learning environment and work on assignments.

Course dates and location

The upcoming course will be taught in Dutch and will take place on the following dates:

• Day 1: Thursday 19 March 2026 (TU Library, Blue Room, Prometheusplein 1, 2628 ZC Delft)
• Day 2: Tuesday 21 April 2026 (DANS, Anna van Saksenlaan 51, 2593 HW The Hague)

Fees and registration

The fee for the GDPR 4 Data Support course is €895, excluding VAT.

Cancellation / No-show

If you are unable to attend the course, please inform us as soon as possible via cursus@researchdata.nl. This allows us to offer your place to someone else.

Cancellations made up to 7 days before the first course day (the date of the first group session) are free of charge. For cancellations received after this deadline, we are unfortunately required to charge the full course fee.

In the case of a no-show without timely cancellation (at least 7 days before the first course day via cursus@researchdata.nl), the full course fee will also be charged.

Certification

Participants who attend both course days and complete all assignments will receive a certificate of participation.
