Our 4TU.ResearchData Road­show is back this year! We will be again tour­ing our part­ner uni­ver­si­ties – TU Delft, Uni­ver­si­ty of Twente, Eind­hoven Uni­ver­si­ty and Wagenin­gen Uni­ver­si­ty – to engage and high­light the impor­tance of join­ing our com­mu­ni­ty; and exchange ideas with researchers and uni­ver­si­ty staff.

We’re excit­ed to vis­it the Applied Sci­ences (AS) Fac­ul­ty at TU Delft for an inter­ac­tive ses­sion on FAIR data and soft­ware pub­lish­ing with 4TU.ResearchData. Data stew­ards and the 4TU.ResearchData tech­ni­cal team will be there for ques­tions and offer you sup­port to make your data FAIR. Learn how to make your data and code more reusable and impact­ful by apply­ing FAIR prin­ci­ples. Cof­fee and tea will be pro­vid­ed.

The goal of this ses­sion is to help you deter­mine what to pub­lish, how to orga­nize the pub­li­ca­tion, and how to doc­u­ment it for max­i­mum reuse — across dis­ci­plines and project scales.

We’ll show­case fac­ul­ty-relat­ed exam­ples from var­i­ous domains on diverse appli­ca­tions such as numer­i­cal and machine learn­ing mod­el­ing.

💻 16.15 — 17.15 | HANDS-ON ses­sion
Try pub­lish­ing your Data & Soft­ware and ask ques­tions to the experts in the room.

Apply best prac­tices in a sand­box envi­ron­ment, where you can work on orga­niz­ing datasets and code, explore work­flows for pub­lish­ing and updat­ing data/software, and get expert guid­ance from the 4TU.ResearchData team and data stew­ards. Exam­ple data and soft­ware will be pro­vid­ed, and feel free to bring your own!
