First round of Essentials 4 Data Support 2025 open for registration

The Essen­tials 4 Data Sup­port course offers an intro­duc­tion on begin­ner lev­el for data pro­fes­sion­als and those who sup­port researchers in stor­ing, man­ag­ing, archiv­ing and shar­ing their research data.

The course con­sists of two days of face to face teach­ing, com­ple­ment­ed by online learn­ing mate­ri­als and week­ly assign­ments. You will receive a cer­tifi­cate upon suc­cess­ful com­ple­tion of all of these com­po­nents. 

The in per­son teach­ing ses­sions will take place on Thurs­day 6th Feb­ru­ary 2025 (DANS, Den Haag) and Tues­day 18th March 2025 (SURF, Utrecht). The teach­ing will be in Eng­lish.

RDNL organ­is­es three rounds of “Essen­tials” every year, two in Eng­lish and one in Dutch. A train­ing round usu­al­ly cov­ers a peri­od of about 6 weeks. You are also very wel­come to our online course plat­form if you pre­fer self-paced learn­ing.
