Workshop series on machine learning applications in material science

We announce the launch of a workshop series for Early Career Researchers in Material Science.

This workshop series aims to introduce early career researchers (ECRs) in materials science to fundamental machine learning concepts, as well as tools and techniques for applying machine learning approaches to their work, including handling and sharing data as well as building machine learning and deep learning models.

These workshops, co-organised by Material PioneersOpen Science Community Delft and 4TU.ResearchData, are designed for ECRs in the field of materials science (PhD candidates, postdocs, assistant professors/research associates): through group interviews and surveys, community members have helped us understand material science ECRs’ needs and interests, as well as volunteered to help instruct in/support these workshops. We would like to use this opportunity to thank everyone who contributed!

The workshops are open for all ECRs in material science worldwide. They will take place online via Zoom.

We invite you and your colleagues to find out more about and register to participate in these workshops through our Eventbrite pages:

Registration for each workshop will close when workshop capacity has been reached, or at the latest 3 days before the workshop.

Please don’t hesitate to contact Alessandra at a [dot] soro [at] vsparticle [dot] com if you have any questions about the workshops!
