Rob Bemthuis is a PhD stu­dent in the Per­va­sive Sys­tems Research Group at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Twente. He holds a mas­ter’s (2017) and a bach­e­lor’s degree in Indus­tri­al Engi­neer­ing and Man­age­ment from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Twente. His spe­cial­iza­tion is pro­duc­tion and logis­tics man­age­ment. Rob’s research is part of the Big Data for Resilient Logis­tics (DATAREL) project, and deals with advanc­ing the extant logis­tic knowl­edge with nov­el Inter­net of Things (IoT) and Big Data solu­tions for detect­ing emerg­ing behav­iors.
