After study­ing a PhD in physics at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Gronin­gen and a post­doc­tor­al posi­tion in Ams­ter­dam, I worked at the TU Delft Library as a spe­cial­ist to sup­port sci­en­tists in their infor­ma­tion needs. Lat­er, I joined the tech­ni­cal inno­va­tion team where the ground­work was laid for 4TU.ResearchData. I have con­tributed to the tech­nol­o­gy, design and data mod­el­ling behind the data archive that recent­ly, after ten years, migrat­ed to a new plat­form. I am now active in devel­op­ing the new plat­form which includes OPeN­DAP, a serv­er ded­i­cat­ed to the NetCDF data for­mat.
