After studying a PhD in physics at the University of Groningen and a postdoctoral position in Amsterdam, I worked at the TU Delft Library as a specialist to support scientists in their information needs. Later, I joined the technical innovation team where the groundwork was laid for 4TU.ResearchData. I have contributed to the technology, design and data modelling behind the data archive that recently, after ten years, migrated to a new platform. I am now active in developing the new platform which includes OPeNDAP, a server dedicated to the NetCDF data format.
