Bio

I grad­u­at­ed in Lan­guages, Law and Eco­nom­ics of East Asia at Ca’ Fos­cari Uni­ver­si­ty in 2004 and 2006 (B.A. and M.A.) and in Law at Pad­ua Uni­ver­si­ty (LL.M.) in 2012. I have been admit­ted to the bar in 2015 and I spe­cial­ized in IT and pri­va­cy law.
I got a Ph.D. at Ca’ Fos­cari Uni­ver­si­ty in 2017 with an inter­dis­ci­pli­nary the­sis on Japan­ese Pri­vate Inter­na­tion­al Law. I has been vis­it­ing Ph.D. stu­dent in Japan, USA and Ger­many.
After the doc­tor­al degree I focused my research activ­i­ty on Law and Tech­nol­o­gy, Legal Aspects of AI and AI Ethics and I attend­ed a pro­fes­sion­al course on GDPR; I have been work­ing also as a pri­va­cy con­sul­tant for multi­na­tion­al com­pa­nies and major banks in Milan.
I am col­lab­o­rat­ing as Sub­ject Expert and Teach­ing Assis­tant in the School of Engi­neer­ing at Car­lo Cat­ta­neo Uni­ver­si­ty — LIUC (Varese, Italy) and I am a mem­ber of the COST action “Dig­forE­thics: Con­ver­sa­tions on Dig­i­tal Foren­sics, Ethics, Law and Arti­fi­cial Intel­li­gence”. In 2021 I joined the Research Data Man­age­ment team at Eind­hoven Uni­ver­si­ty of Tech­nol­o­gy, and became lat­er a guest researcher at the Elec­tri­cal Engi­neer­ing Depart­ment. In 2022, I was award­ed a Marie Sklodows­ka Curie Fel­low­ship under the super­vi­sion of prof. Ugo Pagal­lo at Uni­ver­si­ty of Tur­in’s Depart­ment of Law.
