The Carpentries
The Carpentries – 4TU.ResearchData started collaborating with The Carpentries in 2018 to deliver Software Carpentry workshops for researchers from partner universities of 4TU.ResearchData. In addition to Software Carpentry workshops, we collaborate with researchers to develop and deliver discipline-specific data carpentry workshops.
Thematic Digital Competence Centre for Natural and Engineering Sciences
The TDCC NES – The Thematic Digital Competence Centre for Natural and Engineering Sciences is strengthening the networking and collaboration for FAIR data, software and computation within the domain of Natural and Engineering Sciences. 4TU.ResearchData is institutional member and host organisation of the TDCC NES.
Research Data Netherlands (RDNL)
Research Data Netherlands (RDNL) – RDNL is a partnership between 4TU.ResearchData, Data Archiving and Networked Services (DANS), Health-RI and SURF. RDNL promotes FAIR research data by offering training and expertise for data support.
DataCite
DataCite – DataCite is a leading global non-profit organisation that provides persistent identifiers (DOIs) for research data. The goal is to help the research community locate, identify, and cite research data with confidence. 4TU.ResearchData is Direct Member of DataCite and is collaborating with DataCite by assigning Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to datasets.
Research Data Alliance (RDA)
Research Data Alliance (RDA) – The Research Data Alliance builds the social and technical bridges that enable open sharing of data through working groups and interest groups, formed of experts from around the world. 4TU.ResearchData is organizational member of the RDA and involved in many initiatives.
World Data System
World Data System (WDS) is an international consortium of repositories and data centres. WDS promotes the access to and long-term management of scientific data, data services, products and information. 4TU.ResearchData is Regular Member of WDS.
Open Science NL
Open Science NL is the national programme that aims to promote and accelerate the transition to open science in the Netherlands. It does so through dedicated funding, empowering communities and by supporting capacity building and infrastructure. 4TU.ResearchData is partner organisation of Open Science NL.
Netherlands Reproducibility Network
4TU.ResearchData is stakeholder member of the Netherlands Reproducibility Network (NLRN). The NLRN is a network of institutions and other stakeholders with a common goal to increase the quality and efficiency of research in the Netherlands by coordinating, supporting and strengthening initiatives on reproducibility and transparency in all disciplines.
