Celebrating 10.000 datasets!

We’re very pleased to announce that we have reached 10.000 datasets published in our repository – what an amazing achievement!

Our digital repository supports Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable (FAIR) data and software by offering curation, sharing, long-term access and preservation. From 2023 the infrastructure on which the repository runs – called Djehuty – is available as free and open source software.

During the past few years, 4TU.ResearchData has developed a strong community of researchers and data professionals around its repository. We’re extremely grateful to them and to all our colleagues for their work and contributions – this milestone could not have been reached without all of you!

Madeleine de Smaele, Repository Manager 4TU.ResearchData, says about the achievement: “The repository has grown considerably in recent years. The awareness that research data must be deposited FAIR is increasing and more and more researchers understand that this requires a reliable, certified repository providing assistance where needed. Being closely connected to our community and understanding their needs is much appreciated”.
