FAIR Data in Action: 4TU.ResearchData Demo & Insights

On 9 Decem­ber, 4TU.ResearchData team is organ­is­ing a demon­stra­tion and infor­ma­tion ses­sion tai­lored specif­i­cal­ly for PhD can­di­dates at the Fac­ul­ty of Archi­tec­ture & the Built Envi­ron­ment about the repos­i­to­ry. The ses­sion will include:

• intro­duc­tion to 4TU.ResearchData and its ser­vices,
• demon­stra­tion of how to deposit data for pub­li­ca­tions
• cre­ate col­lec­tions in the 4TU.ResearchData archive.

Date and loca­tion: 9 Decem­ber, 14.00 — 16.00, TU Delft Fac­ul­ty of Archi­tec­ture & the Built Envi­ron­ment — Hall Q.

Addi­tion­al­ly, rep­re­sen­ta­tives of the A+BE fac­ul­ty will share their per­son­al expe­ri­ences with FAIR­i­fi­ca­tion of research data and data pub­lish­ing at 4TU.ResearchData. Reg­is­ter now!

About 4TU.ResearchData

4TU.ResearchData is a research infra­struc­ture, com­mu­ni­ty and train­ing provider whose mis­sion is to enable researchers from sci­ence, engi­neer­ing and design dis­ci­plines to make a glob­al impact with research data and soft­ware. The main ser­vice of 4TU.ResearchData is the trust­ed dig­i­tal repos­i­to­ry which sup­ports FAIR (Find­able, Acces­si­ble, Inter­op­er­a­ble, Reusable) data and soft­ware by offer­ing cura­tion, shar­ing, long-term access and preser­va­tion. The ser­vices of 4TU.ResearchData are thus high­ly rel­e­vant for PhD can­di­dates, who are respon­si­ble for ensur­ing that all data and code under­ly­ing their com­plet­ed PhD the­ses are made FAIR by shar­ing the data/code in a research data repos­i­to­ry.
