Always wanted to know more about Python, Git versioning control, Shell scripting and their application in your research? A Software Carpentry workshop organised by 4TU.ResearchData in collaboration with the University of Twente Digital Competence Center and The Carpentries will be held online on 16 – 19 May for researchers from the University of Twente.
A Software Carpentry workshop is a hands-on training that covers the core skills needed to work reproducibly with code. The workshop covers task automation with Unix shell, version control with Git, basic concepts of data management and an introduction to Python programming.
This is an introductory course aimed at researchers who have little to no prior programming experience.
This workshop is open to all researchers associated with the University of Twente.
