Arie is a member of the technical team at 4TU.ResearchData and has contributed to the implementation of the data portal. He has a special interest in API related topics.
Communications Officer
Deirdre is Communications Officer for 4TU.ResearchData and the Research Data Management team of TU Delft | Library. With experience in advocacy and influencing programmes for water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services and governance in Africa and Asia, Deirdre now works with international research infrastructures and data repositories dedicated to promote FAIR data policies and practices in the domains of academic and scientific research. Deirdre is writing her dissertation on rural water services in Uganda from a systems perspective.
Community Manager
Connie recently joined the team at 4TU.ResearchData after completing her PhD in Developmental Biology at the University of Nottingham. Her primary focus is to engage researchers about data management, and bring discipline-specific communities together to stimulate the creation of FAIR data.
Repository Manager
Madeleine is a library professional who has held various positions, all of which have had a specific focus on metadata to facilitate discovery and access to the Library collections. In her role as repository manager of 4TU.ResearchData, she coordinates activities to ensure that data is well managed and discoverable. Madeleine is passionate about effective archiving of data for its long-term preservation.
Data Engineer
After studying a PhD in physics at the University of Groningen and a postdoctoral position in Amsterdam, Egbert worked at the TU Delft Library as a specialist to support scientists in their information needs. Later, he joined the technical innovation team where the groundwork was laid for 4TU.ResearchData. He has made a significant contribution to the technology, design and data modelling behind the data archive that recently, after ten years, migrated to a new platform. He is now active in developing the new platform which includes OPeNDAP, a server dedicated to the NetCDF data format.
Research Data Officer
Paula is a Research Data Officer at TU Delft Library and 4TU.ResearchData. As part of the front-office team, she coordinates The Carpentries membership and Software Carpentry workshops. She also focuses on how to facilitate the collection of FAIR data within engineering and technical disciplines. Previously, Paula was a researcher in Environmental Biotechnology and Microbiology.
Director of 4TU.ResearchData
Marta is the Director of 4TU.ResearchData and the Head of Research Data Services at TU Delft. She oversees the services offered by 4TU.ResearchData and is also responsible for the research data support at TU Delft. Before joining TU Delft, Marta led the research data team at the University of Cambridge where she did her PhD in epigenetics.
Data Librarian
Jan has been a permanent member of the 4TU.ResearchData team for some time. His primary focus is reviewing newly received datasets and handling user related questions.
Data Steward, Eindhoven University of Technology
Sil joined the Data Stewards team after completing his PhD in Evolutionary Ecology at the University of Leeds. His primary focus is to provide help to researchers regarding RDM-related matters and to contribute to the 4TU.ResearchData community.
