Con­grat­u­la­tions to TU Delft Data Stew­ard from the Fac­ul­ty of Applied Sci­ences, Esther Plomp, who was award­ed the CODATA Essay Prize for ‘Going dig­i­tal: per­sis­tent iden­ti­fiers for research sam­ples, resources and instru­ments’.

Esther’s arti­cle has been pub­lished in the Data Sci­ence Jour­nal.

The end of the year marks the end of an era as we say farewell to our Data Train­er, Ellen Ver­bakel, after 35 years of work­ing at TU Delft. Ellen was respon­si­ble for coor­di­nat­ing sev­er­al cours­es, includ­ing Essen­tials 4 Data Sup­port, The Informed Researcher and Research Data Man­age­ment 101

We wish Ellen all the best for her future and a hap­py retire­ment with plen­ty of hik­ing!
